How to apply for admission into Gautami Talent schools.
- Parents of children seeking admission into Gautami Talent School are required to register their names with the school. The GTS admission kit with an application form can be obtained from the school office in person on payment of Rs.250.
- In all cases the child’s ability in Independence, Speech and Physical developments to fit “fit in” will be ascertained by the principal for selection to Nursery, PP1 and PP2.
- Admission to Grade I to Grade IX is based on the performance at The entrance test. Interview with the Principal, availability of seats and submission of his / her original transfer certificate or School Leaving Certificate from the last school attended by him / her, showing his / her Annual examination results and promotion to higher class.
- In all matters related to admission, the management’s decision is final.
- Rank order merit list of those who qualify will be informed as and when Vacancies arise.
- Underage children will not be admitted as per the instructions from the Ministry of Education, Refer guidelines to Admission Policy.
- Application Form must be completed in full and accompanied by the required documents.
Documents to be submitted along with the application for admission:
Photocopies of the following documents (originals of which should be brought by the parents at the time of interview)
- Birth Certificate / Transfer Certificate of the Child.
- Community Certificate (if any)
- All the school Reports / Mark sheets of the previous school/s attended.
- Five recent passport size colour photographs of the student, one passport size colour photograph of the father and mother (taken in the last 3 months), including the one pasted on the admission form.
*Incomplete forms are liable to be rejected.
Semi-Residential Facility
Semi-residential facility is available for the convenience of the working parents. Extended study hours are arranged at the school for the students whose parents are employees and need the wards to be stayed at the school till they are back home.
Tests and Exams
Since evaluation forms a part of the curriculum, the students are subjected to continuous assessment at different levels and at different periods of the academic year.
Awards and prizes
Students exhibiting outstanding performance in academic and non-academic curriculum are awarded prizes from time to time as a token of appreciation and encouragement.
Do’s and Don’s for students
- Punctuality & regularity in attending school should be maintained. Students should reach school at least 10 minutes before the assembly.
- All students should wear the prescribed uniform in proper style and pattern on all working/celebration days of the school.
- All the students should put-in a minimum of 90% attendance during the academic year.
- Students are advised to attend all the assessment tests, unit tests and final exams punctually.
- Every student is expected to take part in all the co-curriculum and extra-curricular activities as a part of his/his civic training.
